Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop hosted by Viklit over at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week.

This week I'm celebrating:

- life in the new house is still going well, my Mum and I are getting used to it now, and I think her boyfriend and his son are getting used to us. It's starting to feel like home.

- we went to a Christmas market on Sunday, and it was great. Very festive, and I actually managed to start my Christmas shopping! I've left it very late this year, but that's because I had to wait to get paid first!

- my Mum and I watched The Hobbit the other day in preparation for the next one. We won't be able to see it until sometime next week though, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

  9. I'm so glad the new house is working out. Hope you enjoy The Hobbit movie. I'm still hunting for someone to take my son to it because I was so bored by the first movie, there's no way I'm going to sit through another one.

  12. Congratulations on your new home!! I'm celebrating 1.) living at the beach in California even during a cold snap, 2.) finding out my tooth does not have to be pulled--it's a sinus infection!, and 3.) having my young adult horror story, Death House, get accepted for publishing (woo hoo!), as well has having my short story, "Christmas After All," released tomorrow in a Christmas anthology called A Touch of Winter. Happy Holidays!

  15. Enjoy the new home. You have the fortune of making it your own by stamping it with all this Christmas cheer you have lying about spare in December.

  16. I have heard the latest Hobbit film is much better than the first one, although I have not seen that one myself. In fact I still have not seen the last Harry Potter film yet I must try and watch it sometime.

    I am glad to hear your Christmas Tree went up today . . . . . . Santa is getting closer . . . .
